Perazzi MX2000 with 32” Yildiz barrels and multiple recoil systems to cover youth or woman to grown man
Description:
Selling my Perazzi MX2000 which is the perfect gun for a woman, teen or smaller stature man or just someone who wants high versatility, lively barrels and beautiful wood. Gun has 32” flat rib Yildiz barrels (weighing 1.559 Kg with chokes) that were fitted by Lucio at Wood River (formerly Perazzi master gunsmith). It has Perazzi flat spring drop out trigger assembly with barrel selector behind trigger. It currently has a gold Guliani set-back right-hand twist trigger shoe installed in it. That reduces the trigger reduces the reach by 3/8” making it perfect for a woman, youth or smaller stature man. The cost of installing a Guilini set-back trigger is typically over $1000 and is well worth it. The reduced LOP and shorter reach make it similar to the Elle, Syren Tempio, and Caesar Guerini "Compact" guns. With the Falcon Strike hydraulic recoil system installed (shown in pictures) the LOP is just under 14” about 13 7/8”. The gun also comes with a Gracoil recoil system that has been fitted to the gun which has a longer LOP and a 1/2" Kick-eez pad on the Gracoil. If you were put this on in place of the Falcon Strike (takes about 2 minutes) then the LOP can be much longer and if you reinstall the original trigger blade (included) close to 15” especially if you added a thicker pad. The gun also comes with two fore-ends. There are two small cracks that have been repaired at the front of the installed sporter fore-end (see pictures) and the Schnabel fore-end has no defects. There are a couple of dings in the comb that happened in shipping that have been professionally repaired and shown in pictures. Comes with spare flat springs(4) installation tool and firing pins.
There is a small patch on the bottom of the bottom barrel where the bluing has been rubbed down by rubbing on the edge of my Rugged Gear cart separators (see picture). The one downside to Yildiz barrels is that they are not easy to re-blue due to the use of extremely corrosion resistant steel. That is also a huge plus because the chrome lined barrels and silver solder make them much more durable than the original Perazzi barrels with no rib separation concerns.
This is a really hard one to price. It is worth a lot to the right buyer (values Elle or Syren like fit for woman or smaller framed man) and may be too weird for many with the Gracoil unit and Yildiz barrels for some but it is a great gun.
