This Perazzi while the factory SHOWS it to be an upgrade the factory wood, engraver Pisotti and the pattern of work suggests the work MUST have come from Italy. Most upgrades I've seen miss it completely on the wood due to cost. This IS factory SCO/O wood with factory pad. The engraving is perfect and cannot be faulted there. So these two things add up to $20-25,000 on engraving. Add the gun wood and where are you? As former V.P. of Perazzi of course I can see a few things that are not done to it standard to a SCO/O model. Those are: the barrel would have been highly polished. (At least back then) and the trigger parts gold plated inside not chrome ias they are (Better chromed however) and the barrel lug itself would have been polished by hand.... That puts us to about $1,200.00 from an exact match of a factory SCO/O.....The gun is tight, fired little and needs nothing. Dimensions are 1 1/2 x 1 3/8 x 14 1/2 over a Perazzi pad. Cast is Off. It was made in 1977. Barrels are 30" IM/F and weigh 1,580 kg. Condition is about 99.8%. I note a small scratch at the base of the forend cross grain in the finish. It can be seen if you look. Touched up and you can't. I think the gun is a prize. It comes in its Perazzi leather case.
