Perazzi SC4 scaled frame 20 gauge game gun circa 1970
Description:
This SC4 dated 1970 when Perazzi made a very special 49 gun First run of “small frame” 20 gauge O/U game guns, which were all SC4’s or SC0’s. Of those 49 there were just a few 12 gauges made and a very few 28/410’s made in this serial number range between 10,001 - 10,049; the majority being the 20-gauge guns. Of the 20-gauge guns, most had fixed trigger groups with coil springs. Only three were actually known to have removable trigger groups with leaf springs like these this gun has!
28” barrels with fixed chokes, measuring .020” IM & .025” Full. Bright bores. Flat ventilated ribs that taper from 23/64” wide at the breech to ¼” wide at the muzzle
Fitted with handsome grained straight grip stocks Schnabel forearms. Stock dimensions are: 14 1/8” LOP to the checkered butt, 1 3/8” DAC and 1 3/8” DAH with a slight right-hand cast.
Mechanically excellent. The guns weigh 6 lbs. each.
A very desirable/collectable Perazzi in addition to being a fantastic, lightweight 20 gauge game gun!
