FACTORY ENGRAVED GOLD INLAID PIOTTI DOUBLE BARREL 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN

Description:
28 inch blued steel barrels choked Mod./Imp. Cyl. with 2-3/4 inch chambers. Brass bead sight on the concave solid rib marked “F.LLI PIOTTI ITALY" and a band of engraving around the barrels at the breech. Casehardened scalloped boxlock action displaying beautifully executed tight floral scrolls with interspersed bouquets extending to the top lever, the trigger guard and down the tangs. Both sides of the action are gold inlaid "FLLI PIOTTI". The engraving is signed on the right side of the triggerplate "GRANETTI" for the Italian Master Engraver Oscar Granetti. Features ejectors, double triggers and manual tang mounted safety with gold inlaid “SAFE". This shotgun is fitted with a magnificently figured multipoint checkered walnut straight grip stock and forearm with engraved fittings and a Anson button release. Stock measurements; 1-1/2 inch drop at comb, 2-1/4 inch drop at heel and a 14-1/2 inch length of pull to the end of the leather wrapped recoil pad. Condition is excellent overall retaining 97% plus original blue and case colors, with crisp sharp engraving and checkering, all showing only light wear and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Weighs 6 lbs. 12 oz.. Manufactured in 2000.
