Beautiful Filli Poli Opal Extra sideplated boxlock game and clays gun with exquisite engraving by V. Gomponi(Componi?) and a highly figured walnut stock. Full coverage engraving signed by the engraver. Pierced toplever and gold plated double triggers. Made in Italy in 1999 it weighs 7lb 1oz.   ***   The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are crafted from highly figured walnut and have crisp checkering. The wood finish is great but there are a few handling marks. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8” including a 1/4” wooden butt plate by 1-1/4” by 2”.Neutral cast.   ***   This great handling side-by-side has 28” barrels with auto ejectors.The barrels are topped by a raised solid cross hatched rib and are chambered for 2-3/4” cartridges. It is choked Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified. Bluing finish is 99%+.   ***   If you want a great handling side-by-side for sporting clays and game at a great price, this is the gun for you.
