"CASED J. PURDEY & SONS 2 BARREL SET 12 BORE KEN HUNT ENGRAVED (L2026-02630)
Description:
"SN: 26894 made in London circa 1960. 12 gauge side by side 2 barrel set. Each barrel is 30"" with 2 3/4"" chamber and fixed chokes, 1 measures .039/.041 and the other .028/.023. Wall thickness of 1st barrel is .034 both, 2nd barrel is .038/.033. Fully engraved case hardened side lock action engraved by Ken Hunt with cocking indicators, non-selective single trigger, auto-ejectors and a manual safety. Beautifully figured checkered walnut stock with a beavertail forearm, capped pistol grip stock and a 14 1/2"" LOP to the red Old English pad with a drop of 1 1/2-2"". Furniture has some light handling marks, a few small areas of wear on the barrels, bores are excellent. Barrels are tight and on face with the top lever right of center. Comes with original leather luggage 2 barrel case with canvas cover and letter from Purdey.
