28" SxS chopper-lump barrels with smooth concave rib and original Teague interchangeable choke tubes. 14 3/8" pull from gold plated single trigger to checkered wood butt finished with gold inlaid heel and toe plates. 1 1/2" - 1 7/8" drop. 3/8" cast on.
Exhibition Turkish walnut stocks with both splinter and beavertail Anson-pushbutton-release forends for each gun, teardrops, straight English grips, classic point-pattern checkering, beaded-edge triggerguards, and two gold initials discreetly inletted into the toe.
Bar-action assisted-opening sidelocks made without exposed pins, with cocking indicators, bushed firing pins and automatic top tang safeties.
Extensively engraved fine gold inlaid game scenes and with flush gold inlaid vine-leaf scroll on actions, triggerguards and heel&toe plates. On Gun #1, a dog flushing two cock pheasants on the left, three ducks approaching to a marsh on right and a dog on the underside. On Gun #2, three ducks above a marsh on left, a dog flushing two pheasants on the right and a dog following a scent on the underside. Both signed by Stephen J Kelly. Maker's name in gold on action and barrels.
Weight: 6lbs, 10 1/4oz. Built 1999. Very little used, retaining virtually 100% of the casehardening, rust blue, and gold finishes. Consecutive serial numbers and all components numbered 1 & 2 in gold. In maker's double motor case with cleaning accessories, snap caps, turnscrews, broken case extractor, firing pin bushing wrench, and with heavy canvas overcase.
