28" tapered Purdey swamp rib lightweight. steel bbls.-( replaced) old twist bbls) - later with lightweight Purdey steel bbls. 2 1/2" chambers, choked Full / Improved cylinder, double triggers, extractor, assisted open, 14 3/4" + fraction LOP over exotic & intricately checkered straight English walnut stock, hand wrapped 3/4" leather pad, DAC 2 3/8" - DAH 2 3/4", bbl. thickness R .035 - L .034, 5 lbs. 11ozs., tight as new Purdey, 99% blue steel bbls. lightest of handling, no cracks, hairlines or repairs. these are later Purdy lightwt. bbls. replacing older Damacus ones for current field use, Exceptional early James Purdy with another 140 yrs. of field use left for someone but mainly a great (English PURDEY lightwt.upland game SxS) , cased in red felt lined oak / leather case with leather straps, period 3 piece oak cleaning rod, chromed oil bottle, inside case accessoriy sectioned seperatly , - Purdy lightweight steel barrels-, modern shooting specs as listed above,, tight, sound & appealing ltwt 16ga (very scsrce).
