Original #1 of a pair, 2 ½” chamber, hinged front trigger, slight cast off, splinter forend, double trigger, automatic ejector, perfect screws. 100% case color, barrel blue, wood finish. Perfect drop points and checkering. Horn butt plate, oval, perfect lettering, and perfect engraving. This is an outstanding gun of the very highest workmanship. Gun was originally made in 1900 for a captain. The work order from Purdey checks out just how the gun is. Beautifully made; looks and shows as a new gun with very little use. Small handling marks in the wood. Otherwise, an outstanding item. Warrantied for life to the original owner courtesy of Connecticut Shotgun.
