Purdey 12 gauge. Acquired from Purdey in 1967 by the consigning estate, serial 27395 has 30-inch barrels (M/F, Pigeon matted rib tapering to .230-inch, single bead, 2.75-inch, ejectors). Features include side clips, automatic safety, cocking indicators and a single trigger (mechanical) with selector. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.0 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.55 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.1 inches, and cast off is approximately .40 inches. ENGRAVING: Action, lever, safe, guard, tangs and latch wear Purdey's superb bouquet and scroll. CONDITION: Bores are strong and bright. Barrels are full on face and ring like wind chimes in the finest of trailer parks. The lever rests just right of center. Ejectors ping with purpose. Barrel finish is approximately 90 percent. Colors are approximately 60 percent. Wood exceeds 85 percent. No case or papers. The price is firm and layaway is available. $16,500 plus shipping.
