Purdey 12 bore sidelock ejector with extra barrels, serial number 19xxx. This gun was completed on 9th August 1907, a true Beesley patent self-opener. Another set of barrels are included with more open chokes at 1/4 & 1/2. Also included in the case is a provenance letter from Purdey. Primary barrelsProof: -.729” in both, actual -.733” in both. Min walls .021” & .023”. Choked – ¼ & 7/8. Second set: Proof -.729” in both,actual -.735” & .734”. Min walls .023” & .022”. Choked ¼ & ½plete in maker’s leather case for both barrels. Both 29” barrels, 15” stock. Pre-WWI Purdey during the height of production years and quality, higher value with two sets of Purdey barrels
