Used Purdey side by side 12 bore self-opening ejector gun with 29” barrels. The gun is choked skeet and modified. Length of pull of 15” over a 1 ¼” black leather covered pad.
Straight hand grip, double triggers on a square bar action with front being articulated, auto-safety, slightly raised smooth concave rib with a single front bead, removable striker discs, drop points, gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the beetle style safety catch, raised line cocking indicators, vacant silver oval, checkered wrist and forend with mullered borders, and an Anson push button forend release. The gun is housed in a brass cornered oak and leather case by the makers. Circa 1922 London proofed gun. The chambers measure 2 ¾”.
Fine house rose and scroll engraving. Case color hardened action and blued furniture. Exhibition grade walnut stock. Top lever slightly left of center, on face, and ejectors in time. An honest between the wars gun with excellent dimensions and barrels that have hardly been broken in.
