1979 Remington 870 Wingmaster Magnum - 12ga
Description: We've said it before and we'll say it again. There is nothing like the Remington Model 870. Period. With all do respect to the famous John Moses Browning and the tad-bit less famous John Pederson, who designed the Remington model 17 and 10, respectively....sales just struggled against the venerable Winchester Model 12. Remington had just about enough of getting their proverbial butt's kicked at the counter and in 1950 released the Model 870. The absolute simplicity of her design made her inexpensive to produce and reliable as hell. I have never met an outdoorsman who has not either owned or had a buddy that owned a Remington 870. They are THAT popular....and for good reason! This particular unit is the Wingmaster version, meaning nice wood stock and blued finish. In addition, she's a Magnum, sporting 3" chambers. According to the date code on the left side of the barrel she was born in May of 1979 with a fixed full choke and a 30" barrel, perfect for Turkey or Waterfowl. This would be the extra barrel shown in the picture. Somewhere down the line the original owner of this particular shotty purchased a matching blued Remington barrel a bit shorter at 25" and sporting a removable Rem choke. This particular one has a Modified Rem choke installed. With the purchase of this one, single shotgun, you can have the flexibility of going after any bird in North America! The package is complete and priced to sell. She's in Excellent condition and ready for the field for generations to come. "Beware of the man with one gun" the saying goes......buy this shotty package...and they'll beware of YOU! $60 Shipping for the package. Kaibab Trading Company is a licensed FFL in Arizona, USA. No International Shipments. Seller must pay shipping, $50 for long guns, $40 for pistols unless otherwise specified. All shipments are sent USPS Priority fully insured to the purchase price to your FFL. All Arizona buyers must pay 8.1% Sales Tax. See all our listings at kaibabtrading.
