Up for sale is an extremely hard to find sun grain (bleach colored walnut) Remington 870 TX 12ga. Produced Dec 1959 1st year production of the sun grain. Only produced for 5 years. 365 total made in this model with 30" full choke (picture uploaded above of Remington society book with numbers produced) with only 141 being produced in 1959. Barrel serial matches receiver serial as well. packmyer pad. These guns came with sun grain wood. Gold colored forend cap. Gold screws in grip gap. Gold receiver pins, with sun grain (maple looking) stocks. these Were produced when the Remington 572' (Liteweight) sun grains were produced for a short run. Receiver is stamped 870 TX (trap)
