We offer you a “Gorgeous” Remington Model 870 Wingmaster Magnum Pump Action Duck Gun with 28" Vent Rib RemChoke Barrel made in 1987. Our 35 year old 870 Wingmaster was purchased new and taken on two field trips then retired to a gun safe until now. This is a very high percentage shotgun that shows a few very light use marks. The 28 inch vent rib barrel has mirror bore and will handle 2 ¾ and 3” shells. It has one factory RemChoke choke tube with it, no others could be found. The bluing on the barrel and receiver are in excellent condition as you can see. Both stocks are in the same condition as shown in the pictures. The right side of the barrel at the chamber area is marked “H in a triangle – REP in an oval which was the standard Remington proof mark then the letter “T” followed by the 2-line warning marking. The bottom of the barrel is marked with the date code “BH” which translates to January of 1987 followed by a number 2 and a proof mark. The left side is marked “*12Ga. / USE 2 3/4 OR 3” SHELLS IN MAGNUM RECEIVERS / USE ONLY 2 3/4” IN ALL OTHERS”. The serial number on the shotgun is “W212787M” as shown. The prefix “W” was used on shotguns manufactured from 1984 to 1989. The suffix “M” denoted it was manufactured as a Magnum receiver. These 870’s in this condition are getting harder to find. So look at all the pictures and see if this one belongs in your safe. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $60.
