Description:
SALE PENDING JASON 8/7/23  OH.
 Very hard to find and usually offered for almost double our price. It is one of what had been a matched pair offered by Remington at the time (one in 28 ga and the other 410...these were also offered in the 1100 series as a matched set)
There is light (not deep) frosting on the reciver (either from persperation or put away slightly damp). The recever could be reblued for not much $....if someone desires.
Factory equipped with removable skeet weight at the end of the mag tube to help foster smooth swing and follow thru.

  Description:
  This is likely the finast example of any many 71's we've had. Other than the Jotsum pad it is in  over 90% condtion, no carry wear to speak of and still has front site hood. Light fading of blue on right side of mag tube, forend  cap and barrel but NOT rusted or pitted....this one is a KEEPER.. For those who do not know these were an improved version of the model 86 and were/are considered to be the strongest lever actions ever produced (some 86's were chambered in cal's as big as 50-110) This most 71s were chambered in potent 348 Winchester and at a time when few qaulity sporting bolt guns were avail many if not most of these exceptional guns found their way to Alaska as bear guns. The bonus is the LONG TANG and BOLT PEEP  and FRONT SIGHT HOOD
