You are looking at a 95% or better Remington model 11 Military finish 12 ga shotgun. This shotgun was manufactured in 1943 and has a 26” barrel with fixed improved cylinder choke. This shotgun as “military finish” and the Flaming bomb ordnance acceptance stamp on the left side of the reciever as well as the Flaming bomb ordnance on the top of the barrel. The left side of the stock is stamped “FJA” with crossed cannons to the left. Accepts 2.75” or shorter shells only. To my knowledge this shotgun is 100% original. The left side of the forearm does have a press mark going from midway up, as well as many minor marks but no major marks notable. For a shotgun from 1943, i would consider this shotgun in excellent condition. See pics for yourself to judge condition! This shotgun could use a good thorough internal cleaning by a qualified competent gunsmith to remove old oil. Thank you for your interest.
