*Sale Pending* - DOCUMENTED REMINGTON SPORTSMAN 48-D 20 GAUGE SHOTGUN FROM THE ROBERT STACK COLLECTION
Description: This gun comes with studio photos of Robert Stack with different hunting rifles as well as the catalog from John Gangel from when he sold the Robert Stack collection back in 2003 which has been in my collection ever since. This 20 Gauge Shotgun is fitted with a 28 inch barrel with a vent rib. Full choke and has a fine bore. 14 1/2 inch LOP. Also features original fancy deluxe checkered wood stock that is in excellent condition with a Pachmayr pad. Gun is in generally good condition with about 95% blue finish overall remaining and has sharp scroll engraving. A nice collectable Tournament Remington engraved by the custom shop. Robert Stack had quite a career in the movie industry from 1939-2002 and hosted Unsolved Mysteries (1987) and did more zany humor in Caddyshack II (1988), Beavis and Butt-Head Do America (1996) and BASEketball (1998). He also provided the voice of the character Ultra Magnus in The Transformers: The Movie (1986). He portrayed the no-nonsense G-man Ness again in The Return of Eliot Ness (1991). Stack was being treated for prostate cancer when he died at age 84 on May 14, 2003 at his home in Bel Air, Los Angeles, after suffering a heart attack. He won many trophies for his skeet shooting.
