This 1952 Remington Model 11-48 in 16 gauge is a vintage long-recoil semi-automatic shotgun built on Remington's first post-war semi-auto platform — the Browning A-5-derived design produced from 1948 to 1968. The 27" barrel is fitted with an aftermarket Poly Choke adjustable choke device, providing variable constriction settings without the need for screw-in tubes. Pre-owned in 85% condition with marks and minor chips to the wood and metal commensurate with seventy-plus years of age and use; bores are clean and bright; mechanical condition is good; receiver shows the original plain blued steel finish with no decorative engraving as left the factory.
