We offer you a “Shooter” Remington Model 1100 12 Gauge Magnum Duck – Goose Gun 30 Inch Vent-Rib Gas Operated Semi-Automatic Shotgun Manufactured in 1978. This Remington model 1100 12 gauge magnum shotgun wears a 30 inch barrel that has an excellent bore and chamber with no issues and a full choke. The bluing shows wear, thinning and surface marks from use the last 44 years. With scattered freckling on most of the surfaces. The stocks both show wear and marks also as you can see with spots of finish flaking. The butt stock shows light swelling at the pad area but is solid. The left side of the barrel is marked “* 12 GA. MAGNUM / FOR 3 IN. SHELLS" and at the chamber with "FULL", inspector marks and "AQ" date code; March of 1978. The right is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC., / ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.". The right of the barrel at the chamber is marked with "REP" in oval and with inspector marks. The sides of the receiver have open scroll engraving. The left of the receiver is marked "Remington Model-1100" with the serial number “N058868M, the right is marked "MAGNUM". The serial number prefix “N” started being used in 1978. The suffix “M” means the shotgun was built as a magnum making this shotgun all original. The shotgun will ship with the barrel removed for safer travel. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $55. It will be shipped in a double walled cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
