Remington Model 1100 Field Grade - 12 Gauge 2 3/4" - Used; Good Condition - Fixed Mod Choke
Description: Remington Model 1100 Field Grade - 12 Gauge 2 3/4" - Used; Good Condition - Fixed Mod Choke Remington Model 1100 – The Classic Gas-Operated Semi-Auto – 12 Gauge – Late 60s/Early 70s
For sale is a Remington Model 1100 Field Grade semi-automatic shotgun, chambered in 12 Gauge (2 3/4" only). This shotgun is in good used condition and represents the classic gas-operated semi-auto that Remington introduced in 1963 as the successor to the Model 58, Model 878, and later the Model 11-48. The serial number places this example in the late 1960s or early 1970s – pre-dating the millionth Remington 1100.
This 1100 features a 28-inch vent rib barrel with a fixed Modified choke. The overall length is 48 inches. The scroll engraving on the receiver is sharp and clear, and the checkering still provides adequate grip. This shotgun is not in collector's grade condition, but it does its job and looks good enough doing it. Shipping Information – Barrel Removed for Lower Cost: To keep shipping costs down, the barrel will be removed before shipping to reduce the packed length. The barrel will be packed alongside the receiver. Reinstallation is straightforward – simply replace the barrel and hand-tighten the magazine cap. Specifications
