Description:
          Remington delivered 27,565 Sportsman Riot guns to the U.S. Government during WW2. The known SN range is 529,000 to 557,000, this one is 495,049 and date coded Aug. 1943.      
It is marked “MILITARY FINISH” so future customers would not confuse the flat un-polished finish with the beautiful pre-war polished bright blue. The “U.S” & “Flaming Bomb” is clearly marked on the Receiver & Barrel. The Buttstock also has “FJA”, Frank J. Atwood’s inspector mark. The Circled Crossed Canon is the Ordnance Mark.
          The shotgun remains in excellent condition with a perfect bright bore and excellent action that shows little use. The finish on the metal surfaces is 99%. The fore end has no cracks and is in perfect condition. The Butt stock has 3 dents, otherwise only very modest handling marks. The wood has not been sanded or varnished.

ALL Federal, State, & Local firearms laws will be followed.  I will take NO shortcuts in the process of a legal sale or transfer, so please don’t ask.
SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with Signature required. Shipping and Insurance cost for this Long Gun is $80.00.

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.  Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address.
A signed valid FFL license copy will be required for shipment to the license address.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation that the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold as collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons.
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 40 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in-state purchases. The payment of other states’ sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
