REMINGTON WHITMORE GRADE FOUR

REMINGTON WHITMORE GRADE 4
For your consideration, Rare Remington Whitmore Grade IV from America’s oldest gunmaker.
Gun has seen some use but it is in very good condition. Receiver only has a coin finish. The attractive Grade IV engraving is still sharp. Damascus barrel finish is faded gray but still has some visable black and white contrast. Stock has bruises and handling wear which is expected but I would rate it very good considering it is 149 years old. Finish appears to be original. Stock checking is worn flat on the forend but pattern is still there. Stock checking around the wrist is worn but remainder of the checking is good. No cracks! Interior of the barrels are clean and shiny with FULL choke in each barrel. Tight on face. Action is very tight, great lock up, and no wiggle.
Measurements were done to the best of my ability. Stored in a dry and climate controlled safe. I uploaded a lot of pictures so they should speak for themselves in regards to condition. If you have any questions, please use the message feature and I will respond promptly.
