REMINGTON MODEL 11 20 GAUGE SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN - 26" BARREL
Description: FIRST YEAR 20 GAUGE PRODUCTION - 1930, 26" BARREL, 2-3/4", CYLINDER, SINGLE TRIGGER, SAFETY BUTTON, PISTOL HAND GRIP, JOSTAM RECOIL PAD, 7 LBS - 1 OZ, 14-1/2" LOP Made in 1930 a 20-gauge semi-automatic shotgun by Remington. This model was designed by John Browning produced under license by Remington. The 26" polished blue steel barrel has a 2-3/4" chamber, steel front bead on a base and choked Cylinder. Markings on the shotgun's barrel include "REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A / BROWNING'S U.S. PATS. 689.283-710.094-730.870.-812.326" on top, "20 GA", "CYL." and "PY" on the left side and "R.E.P." in an oval, and an anchor symbol on the right side. The frame is marked on the left side "Remington / TRADE MARK / MODEL 11" and the guns serial number. Action is fit with a blued smooth single trigger and a cross-bolt safety button. The American walnut stock with pistol hand grip that has 2-panels checkered in point pattern with borders, forearm with finger grooves has wrap-around checkering in point pattern with borders. 14-1/2" LOP to a 3/4" ventilated rubber JOSTAM "ANTI-FLINCH RECOIL-PAD". 7 Lbs. - 1 Oz. According to the Blue Book of Gun Values the 20 gauge was introduced in 1930. Making this gun a first year production of the 20-gauge Model 11's.
