Description: General Specs: Remington, 1909, 12 Gauge, 7lbs. 8oz., Chokes LF/LF, LOP 14", DAH 2 7/8", DAC 1 7/8" Serial Number: 378256 Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this high-condition Remington Model1900. Originally introduced as a lower?priced companion to the earlier Model 1894, which had been Remington’s first hammerless double?barrel shotgun. Production of the Model 1900 ran from 1900 to 1910, during which 98,508 shotguns were manufactured. This example is serial number 378256 and was manufactured in 1909. The barrels have mirror bores and are chambered for 2 ½” shells, they have 98% factory bluing remaining with a little fading in areas, tight ribs that ring like bells, both barrels are choked Light Full. The receiver and trigger guard both show vivid 98% factory case color, still with factory varnish in areas! Remington 1900’s is such outstanding factory condition are rare as most have been well used and put away wet! You may never see another Remington 1900 in this condition again; so, don’t hesitate, act quickly and add this one to your collection.
