**SOLD**Saiga CANTA Saiga-12 Semi Auto Shotgun in 12 Gauge **Hard to Find**
Description: **SOLD**Here we have a hard to find Saiga-12 CANTA semi auto shotgun in 12 gauge. The Saiga-12 is a shotgun available in a wide range of configurations, patterned after the Kalashnikov series of rifles and named after the Saiga antelope native to Russia. Like the Kalashnikov rifle variants, it is a rotating bolt, long-stroke gas piston operated firearm that feeds from a square magazine. All Saiga-12 configurations are recognizable as Kalashnikov-pattern guns by the large lever-safety on the right side of the receiver, the optic mounting rail on the left side of the receiver and the large top-mounted dust cover held in place by the rear of the recoil spring assembly. Saiga firearms are meant for civilian domestic sale in Russia, and export to international markets. This particular example is in pretty good overall condition with signs of use on both sides of the receiver and on the trigger guard. The muzzle device appears to be aftermarket and is made by SCM Tactical. The pistol grip cap is awol and there are some marks on the stock and a few gouges in the wrist area. The 18" barrel has a good bore. Though not perfect this Saiga-12 would make a good gun to put behind the seat of a pickup while working on the farm or ranch.
