JP Sauer & Son Model “14" (12 ga.) Serial No. 257735 Circa 1929
Made for the European market....note "Sohn"as apposed to "Son"
Barrel has many patches of pitting, see photos...thus the price...$1750.I didn't let them
bother me, I used it as my pickup gun....back when we had gun racks
in our pickups!  Looks like it fell in the 1929-30 production era.
Last Photo shows serial # vintage in Jim Cates "Sauer Book"
Barrel and stock measurements:  bright bores, 30" barrels, 2 5/8" chambers....the
shadetree gunsmiths haven't cobbled up the chambers yet!  Leave them original
and shoot.....somehow the experts have convinced a bunch of
"Nimrods" that 1/8" of an inch makes one damn bit of difference.

Condition:  Perfect bright bores.
No repairs, buffing or sanding to wood. I included a photo of my bore diameter
