Guns International #: 101603130
Seller's Inventory #: 4363
This was an entry level gun but typical of German guns from this period the design and craftsmanship is extremely high.
What I really appreciate about this gun besides its obvious quality is it all appears to be in original un-messed with condition with at least 80% original case color and blue remaining. Their is some minor browning/micro pitting on the right lock typical of a gun of this age.
Features include rare straight hand stock,
Krupp steel barrels, and bushed firing pins.
This is a collector quality gun. *** Note: To see this gun with high resolution photos and a zoom-in feature, go to the vintagedoubles main site and search for the gun ID: 4363 or browse the main site to see our full gun collection.

J.P. Sauer Sidelock "The Knockabout"
~ This was retailed by Von Lengerke & Detmold of New York
Description: Hammerless Sidelocks - This gun dates from the early 1900\'s (before WWI) when VL&D imported these to be sold in their famous outfitting store in New York city. VL&D was a direct competitor of Charles Daly.
