The Savage Fox series of shotguns is a continuation of the Anson Fox series of firearms. When Savage acquired Fox, the firearms were transitioned from carriage trade, to popular brand using modern methods of production. This one has the wide beavertail, and short barrels, popular with upland game hunters. With it IC/IC choke, it is ideally suited for partridge and quail in the dense thickets, and over dogs. The BSE represents model B, Single trigger, Ejectors. It is in excellent condition. The barrels show a little evidence of firing, the metal has no defects, and the wood has sharp rifling. 20 Gauge
