Description: Norinco Model 1897 Trench Shotgun in 12 gauge is a contemporary reproduction of the WWI and WWII Winchester Model 1897 Trench Shotgun. Known as the M97 or 97, this "Trench Sweeper" was used to great effectiveness in both World Wars. It features a 12 gauge barrel with a cylinder diameter and a 2-3/4 chamber. A 20 inch long barrel with heat shield had a bayonet adapter lug on the end allowing a soldier to fix the M1917 blade bayonet. This Norinco Model 97 is new in the box and is manufactured in a near perfect representation of this famous American weapon. With the prices of original examples continually climbing this is an affordable option to owning one of these classics.
