Serial # 2xx, circa late 1870's. Very nicely refurbished, tight on face, Westley Richards A&D by William Ford the noted barrel maker. Re-browned damascus 28.5" barrels are recently nitro proofed at 850 BAR, 70MM. Bores are near exc with just a couple of minor spots. The barrels are choked C / IC with wall thickness, R-.034 & L- .035 4" from the muzzle. Small area of pits under FE, (see photo). Receiver is finely scroll engraved with 90+% coverage. Highly figured SG/SPL wood is in excellent condition with freshened fine checkering, Anson FE release, vacant gold oval, 14 3/8" LOP over solid pad, DAH 2 1/2", DAC 1 5/8" and weight at 7 lbs. Cased in a contemporary canvas/ leather. TRADE CONSIDERED
