This Charles Hellis & Sons 12 Gauge sidelock ejector is a very nice English game gun and appears to be the second gun of a matched pair (gold inlaid “2” on lever, rib, and forend tip). It features 26" barrels choked Full & Improved Modified, making it quick-handling and ideal for walked-up game or driven shooting.
The sidelock action displays attractive scroll, border, and banner engraving. Double triggers, tang safety, and automatic ejectors provide traditional English control. The checkered walnut straight-grip stock has drop points and a blank oval initial in the toe line.
