This gorgeous 12 bore backaction barlock comes with 28” nitro proofed sleeved barrels. The straight grip stock with splinter forearm is made from a highly figured piece of walnut. The Best Quality engraving marks this gun as of the highest quality. *** The beautifully figured stock measures 14-3/4” over a 1-1/8” leather pad by 1-3/8” by 2-1/8”. Slightly cast off for the right hand shooter. There are some handling marks from normal usage on the stock and the checkering could stand refreshing. *** The 28” sleeved barrels are chambered for 2-1/2” cartridges, were nitro proofed in London, have automatic ejectors, and are topped by a smooth concave game style rib. The Right barrel is bored 0.726 and has a constriction of 0.013 for a tight Improved Cylinder choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.035. The Left barrel is bored 0.727 with a constriction of 0.016 for a Light Modified choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.033. Tight on face. Overall weight is 6lb 14oz. *** This is a great English sidelock with fabulous engraving, beautiful wood, and great handling characteristics. Ideal for clays or game.
