English Single Barrel 16 Bore Back Action Hammergun with 29” Highly Figured Nitro Damascus Barrels – 2-3/4”

   ***   SOLD PENDING FUNDS   ***   High quality 16 bore single barrel round body hammergun with 29” highly figured nitro Damascus barrels and 2-3/4” chambers. Rebounding hammer. Tight on face. Very good mechanical condition. Refurbished in the UK with barrel re-browned, stock professionally refinished, checkering refreshed, and furniture reblacked. Single trigger, extractor, bone forearm tip. It’s a wand at 4lb 9oz !

The 29” highly figured nitro Damascus barrels are British proofed for 2-3/4” shotshells. The barrel is bored 0.664 and has a constriction of 0.020. for Improved Modified choke. Generous minimum wall thickness of 0.042.

The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are made of nicely figured European walnut and nicely finished. The checkering is crisp. The forearm has a bone forearm tip. The butt ends in a 1-inch rubber recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8” by 1-1/2” by 2-1/4”. Cast off for the righthanded shooter.

Needless to say this is a pretty handy little wand. Certainly easy to carry. Unique and fun to shoot. High quality.
