Description:
After checking multiple books on English gunmakers and scouring the web, precious little information was found on G.W. Severn. Despite this, it would appear that this shotgun was originally of a very high quality make, but time has not been kind to it as it is in quite he state of disrepair. On inspection multiple repairs can be readily seen as not only has the stock been replaced with a somewhat poorly made replacement, but the lower tang has been broken and brazed back together. The barrels are also quite off face and somewhat pitted, both internally and externally. In conclusion, this shotgun is unsafe to shoot, but may be useful for parts or as a wall hanger.
