J.V. Needham (Greener) sxs 16 Gauge shotgun

Description:
This is a very nice J.V. Needham 16 gauge SxS with 29 & 14/16ths inch barrel. Choked Full and Modified. LOP is 13.25" and 14". It is built off an A&D Boxlock action with the classic Greener Crossbolt.

Top rib reads "J.V. Needham, Loveday ST, Birmingham" with an oval circle which reads" Patent Treble Wedge Fast".

The gun has been worked on as can be seen in the pictures but the wood and steel bear no major marks and the engraving is nice and clear. The brass grip repair makes for a very unusual and unique shotgun which functions as it should. Both barrels ring true and the weight is 6.14lbs. It is cast slightly to the right and does not have the original butt plate but a rubber replacement.

Overall a very cool classic Engish SxS.
