A truly exceptional English best sidelock ejector, this Leech & Sons 12 bore is not only a masterpiece of gunmaking—it also carries rare and irreplaceable provenance as a personal shotgun from the private collection of Cyril Adams, one of the world’s most influential figures in fine sporting arms.

Built with 31” chopper-lump barrels with deep relief engraved fences in classic English walnut, this gun features fine English rose & scroll engraving throughout the action with exquisite carved fences adorned with oak leaves—a level of detail rarely encountered outside of bespoke London sidelocks. The engraving remains sharp and deep, with excellent color hardening still present, giving this firearm both aesthetic richness and technical pedigree.

The action is a traditional sidelock format with double triggers and timed ejectors, executed with the mechanical precision expected of England’s best makers. The slim English straight-hand stock and splinter forend are beautifully checkered and well figured, offering perfect balance for driven shooting or field use.
