Salter & Varge Boxlock Side by Side in 12 Ga is a classic English field gun, built with 28" smoothbore barrels and fixed chokes for dependable field performance. It features a Prince of Wales stock and a traditional side-by-side action with a solid rib, offering a timeless profile and reliable handling.

This solid English Salter & Varge side by side has seen honest use. It sports dark wood with a number of handling marks which is to be expected of its age. The blueing on the barrels has pretty much come away, but no pitting marks showing them to be in otherwise good condition. Top rib is engraved with "Salter & Varge London". Silver bead sight. Break action working well. Dating to 1925 in the United Kingdom, this 12 Ga has 28" barrels with fixed chokes (Left: SK; Right: Full). LOP 14 3/8", LOP to Wood 14 1/8", Cast Neutral, DAC 1 5/8", DAH 2 1/2", Stock: Prince of Wales, Palm Swell: No. Overall length 44 1/2" and weight 6 3/5 lbs.
