I Scholes of Queens Park Rd Blackburn 12 Gauge Sidelock. The action on this gun is a sidelock, double trigger, coin finish with scroll bouquets and border engraving that is sharp, Greener cross bolt, barrels are tight on face and the triggers are nice. The barrels are 30" with good blue and mirror bores, 1993 London reproof to 18.4 and 18.5/ 850BAR original proofs are 19-1 and the bores remain in proof at .722 and .725, 2 1/2" chambers, chokes are Cyl and .030. all ribs are sound and the barrels ring nicely. The stocks are both in great condition with no oil soaking or repairs of any kind, chequering and finishgood and appear original to the gun, wood to metal fit is level with no gaps, slight raised area behind the right lock, 14 3/4" length of pull to an Old English pad, dimensions are modern, 1 1/2" drop at comb and 2 1/8" drop at heel. 7lbs 4oz.
