Description: #1465, A Kerner & Funk (Ernst & Carl) Suhl Made Pre-War Quality 16 x 16 x 9.3 x 72R Drilling Made about 1922 with 26 3/8" Krupp Steel barrels with a rib extension & cross bolt at .658 .023 & .025" (Imp.Mod. & Full), 2 1/2" chambers, Best quality 300 series action body with double underlugs with double bite, Side-clip action body, Bolstered frame, Scalloped action back, Set front trigger for the rifle barrel, Top tang barrel selector for the rifle barrel that actuates the rear sight, Spring loaded locking button on the rifle barrel selector slide, Sling eyes, Cheekpiece, Steel engraved trigger guard, Horn grip cap, Fully engraved cartridge trap in the buttstock line, 14 1/16" lop over a full basket weave horn buttplate, 7 lbs. 7 oz., 99% coverage of very accurate game scenes with excellent floral engraving, The original barrel blue is at 94-95%, The original stock finish remains at 82%, The checkering is at 92%, The bores remain excellent and the rifle barrel is excellent as well.
