Description:
30 inch blued, pre-War German proofed steel barrels with matted rib engraved "A. SCHURK MUNCHEN" for Adam Schurk of Munich. 2-3/4 inch chambers. Bores are bright. Chokes are Full and Full. Double triggers and manual safety. Action and trigger guard are low relief engraved with pheasants, partridge, ducks, and rabbit blended nicely into the patterned background. Barrels retain much of the blue with some high edge wear and light freckling. Action has aged to a nice grey/brown color. Checkered walnut forend with horn tip inlay and checkered walnut stock are in good condition. Mounted with sling swivels, a toeline escutcheon with "PS" engraved and a serrated horn buttplate. Mechanics are fine including the ejectors.
