BEAUTIFUL SUPERIOR GRADE SxS 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN
Description: Marked Abesser & Merkel on the bottom of the receiver. On top of the frame is "Superior-Grade" inlaid in gold. Gun is very high quality craftsmanship featuring side clips, automatic ejectors, 28 inch barrels, excellent bores and choked improved cylinder and light modified. Wood is excellent with splinter style forearm and skip-line checkering. Double triggers. 14-1/8 inch LOP. DAC 1-3/8 inches and DAH 2-5/8 inches. Receiver is highly engraved with game birds on each side, a gold inlaid pheasant on the belly and delicate tight scrolls throughout. Top opening lever retains most all of the blue. The receiver has about 75% thinning case colors. Wood has most all of the oil finish remaining. Trigger guard is well engraved and retains about 90% of blue. Barrels retain about 95% blue with some beautiful relief engraved oak acorns on the sides of the barrel and scallop shells on the doll's head. On top of the barrel is marked "Roechling Electro Steel". Correct checkered hard rubber buttplate. This is a high quality shotgun that weighs less than 6 pounds.
