Description: Boxlocks - German gunsmith Johann Nikolaus von Dreyse beginning in 1824, after conducted multiple experiments in 1836 produced the first complete center fire gun. The lever not only moves the barrels to the right but when closing cams the barrels back into the breech face. This gun won the NRA Foundation trophy at the Celebration of Fine Guns in San Francisco. This will make an excellent addition to any collection
and or display.
