*** REDUCED *** Handsome and great handling Greifelt over/under with 30" barrels. Beautifully engraved and stocked in highly figured European walnut. This gun is elaborately engraved with waterfowl game scenes on the frame, rose & scroll engraving on the breech end of the barrels as well as the frame, and foilage on the frame bolsters. It has a cross bolt for strength, automatic safety, double triggers, automatic ejectors and lots of residual case coloring. Gun weight of this trim German over/under is 7lb 10oz. Both sides of the frame are marked "Greifelt & Co. Suhl". A Von Lengerke & Detmold import. *** The 30" barrels are chambered for 2-3/4" shotshells and are topped by a ventilated cross hatched rib. The barrels are inscribed "Von Lengerke & Detmold New York". The bluring is in very good condition. The under barrel is bored 0.722 and has a constriction of 0.042 for Full choke. The over barrel is bored 0.723 with a constriction of 0.043 for Full choke as well. *** The pistol grip stock and two-piece forend are made of very highly figured European walnut. The finish is in excellent condition and the checkering is crisp. The quarter panels are checkered with inlaid ebony drop points. The pistol grip is swept back in the Prince of Wales style. The stock dimensions are 15-3/8" over a 1" leather pad by 1-1/2" by 2-3/8". Slightly cast off for the righthanded shot. *** I cannot say enough about how well this gun handles.
