Franchi Instinct LX – Fine Italian Craftsmanship – 20 Gauge Over/Under
For sale is a Franchi Instinct LX over/under double-barrel shotgun, chambered in 20 Gauge (2 3/4" and 3"). This shotgun is in excellent used condition and represents the pinnacle of Italian shotgun craftsmanship – pairing superior ergonomics with deluxe old-world features to deliver exceptional function and striking good looks. It comes complete in its custom-fitted hard case with five choke tubes (two Cylinder chokes in addition to the standard three).
The Instinct LX features a beautifully engraved color case-hardened steel receiver with gold-inlaid highlights – including two gold North American birds (20-gauge features Dove & Bobwhite Quail). The underside of the receiver features inlaid gold "Franchi" and "Instinct LX" logos, and the blued trigger guard has a contrasting gold Franchi "F" logo. The shotgun has 28-inch vented barrels with a gloss blued finish, a vented rib to help dissipate heat and dampen mirage, and a fiber-optic red-bar front sight for easy target acquisition. The stock is an AA-grade satin walnut Prince of Wales grip with cut checkering, paired with an ergonomic Schnabel forend with matching cut checkering. The shotgun features auto ejectors, a tang-mounted auto safety with barrel selector, and a recoil pad for shooting comfort.
