William Egan Bradford percussion live pigeon gun
31 5/8" laminated steel barrel with full length raised carved rib and single front bead.
Very good bore
Bar action sidelock with border and scroll engraving
Walnut half stock with original flat top checkering and elongated forend tip, no provision for ramrod.
LOP 14 1/4" over engraved metal buttplate
DAC 1 1/2
DAH 1 5/8
Cast off 1/8"
5lbs 14oz

Wood and inletting solid with no cracks.
Nice original condition 8 bore percussion live pigeon gun with ideal modern dimensions.

Built in the 1850's

William Egan is recorded as having a shop at Hustler Gate, Bradford, Yorkshire between 1829-1857.
