Delightfully fluted fences and acres of tight English scroll on this early sidelock ejector gun, made in 1894, no 2 of a pair, with Grant's patent ejectors. Original barrels subsequently sleeved and nitro proofed now R 732/720 (IC) L 733/698 (F); new barrels made in 1977, R 729/712 (LM) L 729/690 (F). Both 2.5"x28" w mirror bores. Restocked with a nice piece of blonde English, not recently, w. correct flat diamond checkering. LOP 14.5" , drops 1 5/8"x2 1/8", cast off 3/4". Recent rust blue, screws with fresh fire blue, action appears to have been gone through, all work done in England. A piece of gunmaking history you can shoot with modern shells. 6 1/4 lb
