Alex Martin of Glasgow Scotland in its makers case from 1930
Description:
Hammerless Sidelocks - This fine sidelock was built in the prime of British gunmaking between the wars. Company records show this example of Scottish gun making was completed in 1930.
*The gun is tight, has nice bright bores, the ejectors work well and are in time, the wood is sound. The bluing is thinning but actually looks much better in person. *** Note: To see this gun with high resolution photos and a zoom-in feature, go to the vintagedoubles main site and search for the gun ID: 5480 or browse the main site to see our full gun collection.
