Description:
This fine shotgun was made by James MacNaughton of Edinburgh Scotland between 1890-1900. This is a fine example of an Edinburgh round action shotgun. It was made for Captain C. E. Salveson of the Royal Engineers.

Manufacturer: Between 1890-1900
Caliber Info: 16GA
Chambers: Originally 2 9/16", the chamber has been lengthened to 2 3/4" at some point
Metal Condition: Very Good, Considdering the age of ths shotgun it is in very nice shape with minimal wear and handling marks.
Wood Condition: Very Good, Considdering the age of this shotgun the wood has held up very well. There are eight small water spots where the finish has been thinned on the right hand side of the buttstock as well as a small old scrape mark on the left hand side of the pis
Bore Condition: Good, Both bores are nice and shiny, but the left barrel shows three pits 5"-10" forward of the breech.

Stock: Semi-pistol grip, Fine European walnut
