They reach farther than most any other shotgun, and have become an icon of hunting waterfowl from a blind. The payload from 10 gauge shells is 18 pellets of 00 buckshot. At .33 diameter, any hit on a fowl puts it down. Lost game is reduced, fair chase is honored. 10 Gauge
